Young Executive Committee Mission Statement

The Young Executive Committee of the MCAT is comprised of aspiring industry professionals under the age of 45. They intend to further develop their skills, knowledge & experience for their professional advancement with a common goal of becoming future industry leaders.

The mission of the Young Executive Committee of the MCAT is to allow an opportunity for young professionals to informally communicate and network with industry peers as follows:

  • Network with other industry professionals who have the common goal to become future industry leaders
  • Participate in targeted educational and professional development training sessions aimed at further developing the skills & management abilities
  • Create profitable opportunities for the young professionals and the companies they represent
  • Allow for sharing of information such as industry contacts & leads
  • Provide the opportunity for the young executives to be identified by their MCAT Contractor & Associate Member employers as aspiring future industry leaders
  • Allow MCAT Contractor & Associate members the opportunity to seek out and invest in the professional development of their aspiring employees as future industry leaders
  • Provide information on industry activities & events
  • Create opportunities to give back to the community through fundraising (i.e. funds raised through YEC Golf Tournament are donated to a charity) and volunteer work (i.e. Daily Bread Food Bank)
